ECG abnormality: Lafb means that there is slowed conduction down one of the two fascicles that conducts electricity to the left ventricle of the heart.  These 2 fascicles make up the left bundle.  Another fascicle goes to the right ventricle (right bundle).  Lafb can occur innocently or it can occur as a result of injury to the part of the intraventricular septum where it resides.

No: Left anterior hemiblock is an ekg finding that indicates an electrical abnormality of the anterior portion of the left bundle branch. The left bundle branch is specialized nerve tissue that allows the cardiac electrical impulse to travel through the left ventricle causing muscular contraction of the heart. Left anterior hemiblock is common but does not cause palpitations. Another cause is likely.

Innocent hemiblock: Since you're alarmed, you need to discuss this more fully with your cardiologist and ask specifically what he means.  Perhaps you have already been through exams and testing related to this?  My guess is that he means it's causing no symptoms or problems with your cardiac function. But it is an abnormality that requires investigation.

: LAHB mah be a normal variant in your age group or be due to structural heart disease. It in itself doesn't cause chest pain. The latter is usually caused by coronary artery blockage or spasm or pericarditis (inflammation of the heart lining) Is your echocardiogram abnormal?. Have you had a treadmill stress rest? if you haven't done so, consult a cardiologist for evaluation &amp; followup.

can a left axial deviation with q wave in ii, iii and avf, and left anterior hemiblock, suggest lower myocardial necrosis caused by a previous, undiagnosed myocarditis? echocardiogram and treadmill ecg are normal and i have never had symptoms of it?

: A negative maximal stress test, especially with an associated nuclear scan,&amp; a normal resting echocardiogram are good evidence against having had an old "silent"myocardial infarction&amp;the Q waves in limb leads 2,3&amp;avf  are positional&amp; not pathologic. I did vectorcardiograms in the mid 1960's which could differentiate between positional&amp;pathologic Q waves in inferior leads nicely. No longer availabl

The causes of fascicular block is varied from idiopathic or unknown to different diseases of the heart .By in itself it does not cause any problem but a mere indication of abnormality in the electrical conduction

: It is important to control your BP and to keep a daily log at least twice daily. Reduce salt intake, have a renal panel and urinalysis test with an evaluation by your physician soon. Your fatigue may be related to cardiac conditions and an ECHO may be indicated.

Ekg: This is an ekg pattern otherwise known as left axis deviation. The electrical axis of ekg vectors can point neutral, leftward or rightward. Marked deviations to the right or left may or may not be significant and if there are no other ekg abnormalities they do not  necessarily signify cardiac pathology. A cardiologist can evaluate you and advise you. Left axis deviation often is a normal variant.
