Salicylic acid: Most warts will eventually spontaneously resolve; therefore, treatment is not always necessary. Associated pain is a common reason for treatment. Over the counter topical salicylic acid is the first-line treatment.

For : For a large wart, typically the otc remedies will have a hard time getting to the "root" of the wart.  I would recommend you see a dermatologist for liquid nitrogen treatment.  Over a series of visits, this is often successful.  I hope that helps!

: Genital warts are triggered by strains of HPV well known for the potential to clear initially but hibernate in the tissues. They can clear initially but reactivate. Local treatment can remove obvious warts and recurrences are uncommon but always possible.

Possibly: If the bumps around the outside of the female reproductive area this is called the vulva. Condyloma's or warts are common in this area. The vagina is that slick moist part of the opening of the female reproductive system. There can be condylomas in this area as well.  Of course other stds are possible to. Consider seeing a gynecologist for exams so you can be sure.  And yes warts can return.

?? oral ??: In decades in medicine I have never seen or heard of a kid with warts inside his mouth. They do occasionally end up on the vocal cords &amp; are removed by lasers under anesthesia. Outside the mouth they are just like any other warts. All procedures for removal involve pain because the skin around them is sensitive. Freezing, cutting, chemical dissolving all are available. Best done by dermatologists

Your : Your dermatologist is probably talking about the candida antigen injection.  It is typically delivered as an injection into the largest wart or two.  Studies show varying effectiveness, but it has certainly worked in many patients.  Other than the pain of the injection itself, some patients can get mild flu-like symptoms, but most tolerate it very well.  I hope that helps.
