Your : Your dermatologist is probably talking about the candida antigen injection. It is typically delivered as an injection into the largest wart or two. Studies show varying effectiveness, but it has certainly worked in many patients. Other than the pain of the injection itself, some patients can get mild flu-like symptoms, but most tolerate it very well. I hope that helps.
