For : For a large wart, typically the otc remedies will have a hard time getting to the "root" of the wart. I would recommend you see a dermatologist for liquid nitrogen treatment. Over a series of visits, this is often successful. I hope that helps!

Waste of money: Consider the wart is like an iceberg, only 2/3 is above the skin level wile 1/3 is below and includes a root system. The OTC freeze products work only for shallow small warts, if then.Large warts require several weeks of continuous OTC liquid products, or a single liquid nitrogen application by an experienced provider.
