That means a patient needs to review her lab results with her ordering doctor, presumably her primary care doctor who knows all about her medical and personal history. Issues to discuss include:  what is the definition of LOW, is it good or bad to be LOW in monocytes or does it even matter.

Not to worry: A SLIGHT INCREASE IN THE PERCENT OF MONOCYTES MOST OFTEN MEANS NOTHING IN THE ABSENCE OF SYMPTOMS. The monocyte count can also be elevated due to any infection or inflammation in the body, myeloproliferative disorders and cancer.

Need evaluation: Need further information like; what's the White Cell count? any other symptoms? Night sweats, mild fever, loss of weight, fatigue? you can repeat the complete blood count and also order a peripheral blood smear to see if all cells are normal in morphology

for the past 3 years my monocyte levels have increased 2018 .660, 2019 .750, 2020, .880 which is over, i have generalized itching ussually everyday, maybe takes a couple days off, have type 2 diabetes , and mild copd, worried about leukemia?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the data is not suggestive of leukemia.
