Wouldn't lymphoma cause an increase in basophils, monocytes, and possibly eosphils in cbc? if these were all norm on cbc could someone still have it?

Depends: There are many kinds of lymphoma; some of them can be present (especially very early or very late) in the presence of a normal or near-normal cbc.
