Neck pain: Pain at the back of the neck can be because of bad posture if you are working on a computer most of the day or other musculoskeletal causes. You can apply heat packs and see if the pain and lump goes away. Difficult to say what the lump might be without examining. Nerves from the neck go up in the head so sometimes if they get pinched the pain radiates up. Again heating packs can help.

i have a burning sensation that comes and goes at the back left hand side of my head and a little down the back of my neck. it feels almost like acid. it is not painful but rather disconcerting. ?

Burning : A burning sensation like acid flavor support gastritis, and I recommend taking tums (calcium carbonate) over the counter and see if this helps. Try to avoid chocolate, acidic foods, tomatoes, lemons as these can worsen gastritis or GERD

: Considerations include reflex sympathetic dystrophy, fibromyalgia, peripheral small fiber neuropathy, and toxin exposure.  It is not feasible to be precise beyond this, but would recommend you see a rheumatologist, physiatrist, or neurologist and get this evaluated.

why do i get a burning sensation in my neck and in my back of my head?

Possible nerve: Irritation. While it could be just muscle spasms or irritation, the fact that it burns leading up to the back of your head, it may be nerve irritation, often including the greater occipital, lesser and third occipital nerves. i hear a  rushing sound and feel a sensation of fluid in the back of neck going to the base of my head sometimes for years please tell me what this is?

No worries: I have heard this phenomenon described by many patients. It is nothing to worry about. I believe it to be coming from movement of the neck joints.  These include joints between the skull and the first neck bone called the atlas, and a pair of facet joints at every disc level below that. That's a lot of joints that move, potentially resulting in a sound or fluid sensation.

every so often i get headaches in the back of my head a little bit above my neck, feels like a throbbing sensation. is it migraines? neuro said yes.

Could be: If neuro said yes then it is...Migraines are a specific kind of headache. Often associated with auras, can be one-sided or both sides. Interfere with work/daily life. Often throbbing in nature. Can have issues with light or sound and often patient has to sleep it off in a dark quiet room. Can be triggered by foods, stress, etc. I have had great success with acupuncture and chinese medicine..

stiff neck, aches in back of the head, and a subtle pressure/squeezing sensation in all areas of my head that moves around throughout the day. it's never painful, but it bothers me. occasionally static or tiny black dots in vision. it's been 2 months?

: TIny black dots in the vision is a concern for eye problems, problems with the vision system, nerves, or brain.

Most hot and cold: sensations involve misfiring or some sort of dysfunction of the sensory nerves of the skin.  The sensations of redness and warmth to the touch suggest dilation of blood vessels...it almost sounds like a type of "hot flash."  How old are you? Sometimes menopausal hot flashes are perceived in a localized part of the body vs generalized over the entire body. Review with your doctor to decide on tests

when i bend over (less often stood up) i get this strange sensation at the top of my neck (right side) or behind the ear towards the back of head?

Hard to say. : I would need a bit more info. The sensation is it feel like spinning or being off balance? Do you get light headed like you are going to faint? Is it more pain in the neck that you feel? Is it tender to touch? Let us know.
