Spinal cord : Maybe compressed in the neck and or back. See a pain specialist for imaging and a physical exam.

Neuropathy/neuroma: If your entire foot is going numb – involving all of your toes, this may be a form of compressive neuropathy involving pressure over the top of your foot – commonly related to how your shoelaces are laced if you're a runner. If you have a burning pain and associated numbness between the third and fourth toe, this is commonly an interdigital neuroma; activity modification, injection, surgery.

Neuropathy: Is the problem. How can you fix it? You need to determine the etiology. Is it coming from a systemic disease like diabetes, a vitamin deficiency, chemotherapy or other drug side effects. Or, do you have any lower back issues that may be causing a radiculopathy or sciatica type of condition.

No: usually pain is on the bottom of your heel especially with early fort morning step. Top of the foot is not usual pain for plantar fasciitis.  You need further investigation and treatment. Please see you foot doctor. Could be compensation effect.

Definitely: Sometimes those symptoms will improve when you get your thyroid back in balance, but talk it over with your doctor, since there are many other causes of peripheral neuropathy (numb fingers and feet) including diabetes, alcohol, and problems in the neck or back. Good luck!

Many things: Diabetic neuropathy 
pinched nerve in back
damaged distal nerve etc etc etc......
If you have pain shooting down leg then probably pinched nerve in back.

Toenails: Your medical history is complicated. The problem with your toenails has many possible causes have them evaluated by a dermatologist. It could be due to an infectious (bacterial or fungal) , or immunologic, or physical etiology. The burning may or may not be related to the cracking of your nails.

Yes: S-1 compression can cause numbness in the toes and sole of the foot. L-5 compression can cause numbness in the anterior lateral aspect of the shin and posterior ankle region. There are specific exercises you can do to possibly alleviate the compression!  Check with your doctor for a Physical Therapist consultation.

See below: Disk pathology in the lumbar spine would not cause your whole body to go numb. I would recommend you see a neurologist for further evaluation and clarification of your problem good luck thank you.
