Soft  tissue trauma: Every  fall  does  not  mean  fracture,  you  have  soft  tissue  trauma  to  surgical   area   , may  be  to  nerve,  see  a  neurologist.

Normal: This is part of the normal healing process.  Some patients after carpal tunnel release can develop pillar pain that can take up to 12 months to resolve.

Shouldn't be problem: Usually we only see hair color change after a longer period of cast immobilization not a shorter term use of a splint.  If you do get some hairs that are darker they will return to their normal color over time

Yes: Elevate high (statue of liberty) and use ice. Swelling is more common after open surgery than the newer endoscopic techniques.

Lotion: you should be able to use lotion now that the stitches are out

Yes: Swelling and stiffness us common after endoscopic carpal tunnel release and it can take a little time to resolve. Numbness can take quite a while to resolve, especially if the nerve damage was more severe before surgery. Sometimes, some of the numbness does not completely resolve, other times it can take 6-12 months to resolve.
