i feel my tendons popping at the back of my right knee towards the medial line. it doesnt impact normal activities but sometimes it hurts and when i stiffen my foot ( pointing it up) while straightening my legs, it would pop without fail?

: There are many muscles and tendons in the area. Google knee anatomy. And see if you can figure which one in the problem. Then tell you Dr and get a proper knee exam.or you can Google knee exam and teach a friend to do it and tell you what is the problem. I would prefer Dr.

In the back: Of the heel the problem is usually achilles tendonitis or a hagland's deformity or spurring at the back of the heel. On the bottom of the heel plantar fascitiis and or heel spur are the usual culprits.

Sounds like : Achilles tendonitis. If it is, you may want to try a small heel lift, eccentric excercises and ice or epost salt soaks in warm water.

36 yr old female with pain from the heel of my foot that shoots behind my butt in the middle of my back. could this be sciatica? i was told i have a smallcurvature at the lower lumber of my spine and a syrinx. could that be related?

: It does sound like sciatica although sciatic pain generally stops at the buttock. You didn't state where the syrinx is located. Your question is only the beginning of the diagnostic process, not the end. Telemedicine has its uses, but in my opinion, in your case, there's no substitute for seeing a live clinician who can actually lay his/her hands on you and do a physical examination.

i have hurt the back my foot, dr assessed and adv torn tendon, it's now been 4 weeks  i'm still in gr8 pain, besides the back of foot also pain from my heel under my foot and straight to my second toe, i cannot flex my toes or foot up and down?

See orthoped foot MD: Your symptoms sound like you need a tendon repair, if you cannot control your foot effectively.  You should see a foot specialist.

have spur on the back of my foot and below my heel. achilles tendinitis (visible on the back of my foot). pain is excruciating 24-7-365. what can i do?

Over used heel.: It sounds like you are describing a posterior calcaneal spur with associated Achilles tendinitis.  Stopping, or severely reducing, the pull of the Achilles tendon is the first line of treatment. Application of heat and/or cold will help, but the tendinitis inflammation must be reduced and off loading is the best way. Elevated heels on your shoes may help. An evaluation by a specialist is needed.

i slipped down stairs 3 days ago. have swelling and bruising on the outside of my left ankle starting on the joint making almost a band shape to the back of my foot, left side of heel to pinky toe. foot is kinda numb and very cold to touch. what now?

Seek medical care : Given the traumatic history that you have given, I would recommend seeing a doctor and getting X-rays.  If not right away go to the emergency room if you have insurance. I would recommend staying off it until evaluated. I would initiate contrast bath at this stage of the injury. Hot and cold soaks.

i have recently had stitches on the inside of the foot near the ankle the next morning after getting the stitches i was unable to walk and still am. i am experiencing extreme pain on the back of my foot and a bit up my calf i am unable to bend my foo?

Previous procedure: Might be related to the previous procedure you had, the best thing to do is go to an orthopedist specialist to get some images of your foot (x rays or scans) and see exactly what the problem is.
