Bleeding gums: In addition to taking vit c, see your hygienist every 6 month for cleaning. Gingivitis and periodontitis are other  common cause of bleeding gum!

Reduce acid: You need a acid reducer or controller to reduce the acid production . Do note that reflux may cause gum and dental problem as well.  Have you talked to your doctor yet?

Infection: Tongue coating and bleeding gums may be from infection(s).  Please see your Dentist to have your problems diagnosed and properly treated.

Inflammation: The pain is probably due to inflammation in that area... Could be from periodontal problems, could be from a cold sore, could be from a burn. Can't tell over the internet. You may also have calculus buildup which needs to be removed. Please see a local dentist for a definitive DX and treatment.

Pain Constantly: It sounds to me like you should see a dentist as soon as possible. Bleeding gums and constant pain are not a good sign. I would suggest some Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) for temporary relief, however, the pain and bleeding gums could be something more serious. Imagine if your hands were bleeding when you washed them. You would see a doctor right away. It is the same thing when your gums bleed.

Brushing wrong: The most common reason i see is that people are ineffective at oral hygiene. Most don't clean the most important sites--in between the teeth. Also, when they brush, they brush the chewing surface of their teeth instead of removing the plaque from the gum line--the junction of the teeth and gums. Have a good dental check-up and have a hygienist demonstrate proper techniques.

See a periodontist: Bleeding gums are a sign of one or many problems. Have a periodontist evaluate you
if you are just brushing too hard with a too firm brush that would cause bleeding but so will gums that are infected and if not treated can progress to bone damage to your jaw.

Underlying disease: You may have periodontal disease to be treated or an abscess.  Check with your dentist.  Continue to brush and floss because it is only helping with a good oral hygiene effort.

Gum inflammation: Gums should not bleed unless there is 1)gum inflammation and brushing establish a drainage, 2)trauma to the gum using hard/medium bristle brush, 3)tooth or periodontal abscess 4)underlying gum disease that is needed to be treated.  Normal healthy gum should not bleed.  Check with your dentist.

Gums that bleed: Gingivitis is the beginning stages, and by definition, your gums are inflamed, and you might see them bleed when you brush and floss.  If this is left untreated, then the infection moves deeper into the jaw, and it progresses to the more severe, periodontal disease.
