Bleeding gums: Although its true that a deficiency of vitamin c can cause bleeding gums, it may not be the sole reason you are having these symptoms. You need to see a dentist to evaluate your overall health and condition of your gums and teeth to rule out other causes of your problem. In the meantime, make sure you are brushing and flossing properly (see image). Brush after every meal and floss every night.
