HOW YOUNG?: For adults no matter the age the treatment for anxiety would include a thorough evaluation to determine any medical or physical causes then therapy, relaxation techniques, meditation, exercise, good sleep hygiene, healthy eating habits, reduction of alcohol and caffeine. Consider depression and then may need medications like anti depressants or anxiolytics.

Uncertain.: The answer depends on the correct diagnosis.  If severe vitamin d deficiency is present for a prolonged  time osteomalacia (impaired bone mineralization)  may occur.  Vitamin d over a period of months could normalize bmd.  If mild deficiency of vitamin d is present osteoporosis could develop.  In that case there would not be great improvement in bmd.  High serum alklaline phosphatase= osteomalacia.

These medications, like Concerta, are amphetamine like stimulants that can have side effects. There is no medication to enhance memory in normal individuals.

Evaluation first: The key word here is not so much "control, " but to understand and treat, your depression.  You may or may not need medication.  Psychotherapy alone may be the best help for you, but the best way to know is through an evaluation with a psychiatrist or therapist.  So please make that appointment.  In the meantime, regular exercise & being with friends may help.  If feeling suicidal, seek help in er.

No: There is no evidence that medications used to treat adhd lead to suicidal thinking or acts in children or adolescents.  However, strattera (atomoxetine) is a medication approved for adhd that is more related to antidepressants, and as such it has been given a warning of suicidal ideation as it is grouped with that kind of medicine.

It's best to consult with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy. Many performers take Propanolol as needed prescribed by a Psychiatrist. With psychotherapy your husband may avoid taking medication.

Get a cxr: Get a chest xray.  This will eliminate your concerns for active TB if you don't have it.

Keep taking.: You don't have a thyroid gland any more to your body can't make the thyroid hormone. Thus, you will need to take Eltroxin (levothyroxine) for the rest of your life. It is simply replacement thyroid hormone.
