Most likely benign: It is not  easy to feel lymph nodes that are not enlarged. In young individuals most enlargements are reactive to infections in the region and rarely due to lymphoma or metastatic cancer. If there are pimples or scratches in your armpit , that may explain it otherwise just observe it for a while and seek help if it rapidly becomes larger

It depends on her wi: Chemotherapy is commonly used for recurrence of colon Cancer. if your Grandma(GM) is physically fit and able to take care of herself, then it is likely that she can tolerate chemotherapy. Seek input from a medical oncologist in your area and have him/her guide your GM's future care.

Up to you Doctor: It is unusual for those medications to cause thyroid problems. There is some thought that it may be a temporary problem eventually going back to normal. However, the option of treating the under active thyroid with thyroid hormone replacement may be a consideration for the physician if the seroquel and Abilify (aripiprazole) are the best options for the patient's underlying problem.

Goiter!: This is a benign sometimes quite large thyroid enlargement.  It used to be mostly due to iodine deficiency which is why we see "iodized" salt adding nai to nacl table salt. Some cases are of unknown cause. These can be cosmetic or functional problems breathing or swallowing calling for removal with thyroid replacement drugs.

They do not have to.: Ovaries might be naturally large, or they might be enlarged because of like ovarian cysts, or conditions like polycystic ovaries.  This would have problems like chronic anovulation, normal to increased testosterone, and lh/fsh ratio.  But cancer should be ruled out, especially in older patients with pain, bloating, and weight gain.  A ca=125, pelvic exam, and transvaginal us are initial tests.

Ovarian mass: If somebody has ovarian cancer, you would see some sort of mass/cystic mass there in ovary. The problem is that many times, prople can have cysts in their ovaries comes and goes and majority of those cysts are benign. So, you really need to monitor all those cysts closely.  You can not have ovarian cancer without a devleopment of some sort of mass.

Usually not: Cysts of the ovary are very common and most are not cancerous.  However, many cancers of the ovary are also cystic and any cysts that are associated with ovarian enlargement need to be investigated to rule out cancer.

do you need to have cancer present in a lymph node to make all of your other lymph nodes enlarged due to cancer? i have 2 pea sized lymph nodes at the back of my head which haven't in 6 months, so can they cause my other nodes to become enlarged?

: Repeat question; see previous reply. An inflamed or enlarged node cannot cause another to enlarge and get inflamed. This still sounds normal and nothing to worry about. But see a doctor if you remain concerned.

i had a at scan in 2016 for a,cyst on my kidney.all okay i was told today i saw a nephrologist for an unrelated issue.he saw the 2016 test and said i may have adrenal hyperplasia cause the 2916 said my adrenals,were both enlarged .is that cancer?

: Hyperplasia means overgrowth or enlargement.   Your adrenals  elaborate different types of hormones and are responsive to signals in the endocrine system. If both adrenals are truly enlarged they may be responding to a signal from the hypothalmamus or pituitary. If they are producing hormones you would be expected to have side effects from those hormones. Followup with your doctor.

ct scan was done said had portacaval lymph nodes slightly enlarged, is it cancer?

Need Bx: The CT can shoe the enlarged nodes, but is not necessarily diagnostic of cancer.  A biopsy would be definitive for a diagnosis.  Best wishes.
