Aversion hypnosis: Healthy eating is easier if you realize that you are bombarded by advertisements that make burgers, fries, and pizza seem good for you. There is a nice youtube video under "aversion hypnosis" that can keep you away from junk food. Then focus on veggies fruit grains and proteins.

Too many options: In the third world countries, eating disorder is very rare, so are the "picky-eaters." when you don't have enough, you would eat anything/everything. Here in us, we have too much food--often too much of the not-so-good kinds. When kids have too many options, they tend to pick things that are easy/fast and have some tastes to them, not for health reasons. So, limit their choices, live by examples.

Healthy eating: Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds are less expensive than meat.  Avoid any pre-packaged foods, fruit juice (sugar), and certainly soda.  Eggs are great, the whole egg, not just the yolk.  Peace and good health.  Grow your own vegetables if possible, even tomato plants inside the house in a gallon bucket.
