Too many options: In the third world countries, eating disorder is very rare, so are the "picky-eaters." when you don't have enough, you would eat anything/everything. Here in us, we have too much food--often too much of the not-so-good kinds. When kids have too many options, they tend to pick things that are easy/fast and have some tastes to them, not for health reasons. So, limit their choices, live by examples.
