in 5 hours am having septoplasty and turnibate reduction. i got so thirty.  i just drink water. will this complicate surgery?

Should not: Patients are asked to not drink or eat for a period of time before surgery to avoid having a full stomach prior to inserting an airway. Just make sure you tell the anesthesiologist what you have eaten or drank in the last 8 hours prior to your surgery.

had surgery few weeks ago and woke up after with teeth pain all over i drink cold water or eat something sugary. tried sensodine but no luck. cause?

More Info Needed...: What type of surgery? Surgery in your mouth? Extractions or gum surgery? If other surgery, were you intubated? For how long? Sinus problems? Are the teeth still hurting or getting better? It may be coincidental, or it may be as a result of a dry mouth or the procedure. Consult with your dentist.

last week i was circumcisdd for traditional reasons. one of the conditions regarding my diet after the surgery is, that i'm not allowed to drink water. i don't doubt my doctor, i just wasn't given a reason as to why i can't drink water.

Hmmm....: Haven't heard of any reason why a person should not drink water after a circumcision. Circumcision is not necessary if good hygiene is done. Water, however, is necessary for life. Circumcisions are done for religious and cultural reasons, but the procedure does permanently change the genitals. One can ask the doctor why the water prohibition.

17 days post gallbladder surgery, had spicy food that caused gallbladder like attack symptoms.24 hrs after now urine is bright yellow after drinking half a gallon of water?

: I wouldn't be worried about bright yellow urine, but would be very concerned about presence of brown urine and clay colored stools, indications of possible bile duct blockage. Nevertheless recurrence of that episode or on going discomfort should be reported to your surgeon.

i had foot surgery 15 oct. had bm before surgery. had small one on 18th. none since. eating what usually makes me go. take dulcolax 4 da. drink water.

Keep on doing that,: And you'll get the bm soon.  Its the pain meds which have this side effect. 
If you get any other symptoms, like distension of your tummy, then see your pcp, but keep with eating, laxatives, prune juices, drink plenty of water etc, and I am sure you'll be successful very soon.

Elevated BUN/cr: Would not worry. Likely due or  dehydration as most people do not drink enough fluids.  If other labs like creatinine alone are OK( which it appears to be as BUN is 28 and the ratio is 30 so creatinine has to be &lt; 1 ) and liver functions are OK ,  don't worry . BUN is slightly higher in older individuals. . Good luck with surgery.

Good: Life's too short for people to make subscientific / control-you rules about what other people eat / drink, but water at meals is a good thing overall. Obviously drinking water helps move the food along & quenches thirst. Since prepared food tends to be too salty nowadays it's not a bad idea to drink some extra water daily.

Hydration: We lose moisture in our breath all night as we sleep.  Dry mouth, burning eyes and nasal congestion when we wake may all be due to dehydration.  Drinking 250-500 cc of water first thing in the morning can help correct this.  Also, the kidneys can only remove body waste when there is sufficient free water flowing out of them, so stay hydrated enough during the day to keep your urine light yellow!
