i have been experiencing tingling in my lower face, lips and tongue the past several days. what could be the cause of this?

Yes and no: Most people with dry mouth are actually irritating their lips and tongue without realizing it, given that the tongue has a mind of its own. Is it ok when you first wake up, ie after not working on it all night? Sometimes the cause of the dry mouth goes away, but the secondary irritation just keeps up because it is a behavioral change.

Not sure: Sweet taste in one's mouth is not a symptom of any disease. Diabetes doesn't present with a sweet taste. If you have other symptoms such as burning, plaques on the mucosa or any other symptoms (cold symptoms or phlegm production), this may be related, but then it warrants to be checked by physician.

Meds: Many medications cause dry mouth . Check side effects to ck.
Radiation therapy  for certain tumors of the head and neck can damage salivary glands and cause dry mouth
certain salivary gland diseases can also cause this.

hiv/aids
anxiety
depression
tobacco use
mouth breathing/snoring.

i occasionally have a sweet taste in my mouth, especially in the back of the mouth. my diabetes is under good control. can anxiety and or gastritis cause this? if yes does it go away?

: Rarely, reflux of gastric juice may cause that sweet taste. So if you have GERD, you may find the relationship between the sweet taste and reflux in certain occasion such as that taste occurs after a big meal or you lie down too soon after a meal. The symptom is occasional, not on a daily basis so you can disregard it. Take care.

in the past week i noticed i had a sweet taste in my mouth. this happened 2 times. late morning before even eating anything. it only lasted a minute or so. i have type 2 diabetes, and its well controlled. i also have anxiety. can anxiety cause this?

can having to much sugar/soda cause oral yeast infection?i dont have hiv or diabetes. what could be causing me to have a yeast infection in my mouth?

Likely not: Yeast does like to grow in moist places and with sugar.However,without recent antibiotics or diabetes,HIV,etc would be unlikely in mouth.A white coat tongue alone usually is not yeast and would need to be inside on sides of mouth cheeks,Yeast will not scrap off without bleeding also.If it is yeast something else is going on-recent antibiotics or diabetes etc.Get seen.
