Whey vs. Casein: Whey is a byproduct of the processing of cheese.  it is slower acting in the body.  Casein comes from processing milk, it is quicker acting.  Whey is best for post-work out, casein best for when you need longer-lasting nutrition, e.g., between meals or overnight. No consensus: Quinoa, a grain, is a complete protein, as is soybean. Eggs, chicken, meat and fish.  Best to eat wild fish like salmon, limit meat to antibiotic free-very lean meats, and cage free eggs and chicken.  Nuts and beans also have protein but are not complete.
