I'd think not: Especially if you mean a small amount - like a 1/4 -1/3 of a cup? 
This should not be a problem, but yoiu might try to find unsalted or lightly salted ones - the salt can be a bad thing for dieting. Good luck.

Weight loss: I wouldn't doubt that anything can induce weight loss, but there is no sufficient proof that anything besides a healthy diet, low in calories, starch & sugar, with vitamin support and reasonable daily exercise, is reliable. Some form of protein and vegetables throughout the day will get you there.

Could be...: But there are many causes of diarrhea. If the almond silk is the cause diarrhea should resolve within a few days of stopping it. Prove that almond silk is the cause of diarrhea by drinking it after diarrhea has resolved. If loose bowel movements return promptly you will have a pretty unambiguous answer. Why not drink lactose-free milk?
