See a podiatrist: Bunion pain at night time could be caused by several things. It could be pressure fron your shoes, nerve entrapment, or possibly gouty arthritis. An evaluation by a podiatrist could really help.

i have bunion growing on my right foot and i'm starting to get some pain. how do i manage this?

Conservatively,first: Surgery is more successful than conservative measures, but generally is done only if such measures fail.Such measures can include wearing orthotics or wide shoes with a low heel, performing stretching exercises to keep the joint loose, keeping a pad on the bunion to protect it, using night splints designed for bunions, applying ice to it for a few minutes after activity, and using nsaids.

$400-$800: That is my best estimate, but it depends on how complex your deformity is. It may be more, or even less? Your problem may take more than one procedure. You should also be aware that there will be other charges, like anesthesia and the fee for where the procedure is taking place. I assume you are a cash pay patient - if this is the case, let people know, and ask how they handle that & their advice.

Find comf. Shoe: If you are walking and have a painful bunion u may want to find a walking show that has more space for your bunion. Or, you could see an ors or podiatrist and have your shoe ' stretched out' and a bunion pad placed. This can be helpful and allow u to keep walking. Good luck!

No quick fix: please see a podiatrist  who can determine the extent and nature of your bunion issue; however, bunions will not go away on their own and may require surgery if symptomatic.

Yes plus: Bunion pain has several sources: 
1. Rubbing directly against the shoe (get wider or softer shoe leather). 
2. Arthritis in the joint (hallux rigidus) treated with stiff soled shoes with a rocker can be helped by orthotic injections, surgery
the rolling of the ankle multiple times may have stretched out your ankle ligaments and require a brace/physical therapy.

looking for a podiatrist/orthopedic specialist advice. does a foot splint for the big toe get rid of mild bunions or prevent it from becoming worse?

Can't spl. Toe forev: Splinting the big toe, will not cure what has already formed absolutely.  It's also probably not going to keep it from getting worse. Bunions are  usually a progressive deformity. Consult either specialist.
