Usually: If someone that young has a heart attack is related to genetics and/or drug use(like cocaine).  Even person's with genetic cholesterol syndromes(nothing like you regularly see in the community), if and when they have early heart disease it tends to be in the 30s-40s.  A normal stress test and echo always provide reasonable reassurance.  Bigger question is why are you worried about heart disease?

Not directly: But certainly they can if the ptsd and stress lead to changes in lifestyle with significant weight gain, Insulin resistance, etc.

Yes,: but it would be a good idea to drink plenty of fluids and get it rechecked when you are not fasting overnight. At the edge of the upper limit of normal may be insignificant and normal upon repeating the lab.

annual blood work shows elevated calcium. everything else normal. doc not concerned but looking online there are some serious potential causes. historically never an issue w calcium. im under a decent amount of stress will that affect results?

: When you post on this site you need to provide as much detail as possible for a reasoned answer to be given. Your doc looked at the result and was not concerned. You did not provide the lab result/how high was high or that labs "normal" values. Depending on doctor google will usually create more stress than answers. Please start over and provide detail. i was diagnosed with fnd and was told that stress causes my symptomes. now i have had chest pain and weakness for 2 months but did not see a dr because i thaught it is just the fnd but my dr let me know of elevated levels of enzymes, what can this be?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.  Wish you good health!

Lab tests: Your labs do not seem all that abnormal.  WBC minimally elevated with mildly increased neutrophils.  Could be a viral infection.  Just have this rechecked in a week or 2.  What do they think is causing your abdominal pain?  Perhaps you need an endoscopy.  Good luck!

Yes: Both adrenaline and cortisol (two hormones that are released in larger amounts during stress) can elevate the WBC count.

my prolactin is 57.2 the only thing i take is orthocyclen, (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) could
it be the cause of the elevated prolactin? i also get very stressed
before blood test

High prolactine: Not very likely that contraceptive cause that. If you are not nursing mother then perhaps dedicated MRI of pituitary might be next step to evaluate finding provided that repeated prolactine test is consistently high.

How do you feel?: Reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. If you feel okay, I would not give this another thought.

can stress cause higher serum light chain numbers? kappa slightly elevated (21.5), lambda normal, k/l ratio normal. kappa, lambda, k/l ratio in urine all normal. no m protein observed. i have stress and anxiety..just wondering if this could affect.

Ignore this test: The test for serum free light chains has a very limited role and what your described, more than once, is no cause for concern.
