Chronic bronchitis: Chronic bronchitis, usually the result of smoking, is associated with chornic obstructive pulmonary disease. Dnepnding on your history, spirometry testing and other tests, the degree of COPD can be estimated. First, if you smoke- stop !  since i'm not sure what you are takign, you may want to look into a plumonologist (lung specialist) for more indepth treatment.

Bronchitis: Hello, sometimes excessive amount of coughing can give you a little bit of blood streaking. But either way if you are coughing up blood, I would take that very seriously. And go see a doctor to get a chest x-ray done at least.

Cough: chronic cough and now right sided back pain is concerning and requires further radiological investigation. There are may be multiple causes, including something as simple as musculoskeletal spasm or rib fracture to more complicated such as pneumonia or lung abscess. You should see your physician and have x-Ray or ct scan of chest done

Multiple causes: First do you smoke, if so stop. If an albuterol inhaler helps, asthma could be present. Addition treatment may be needed. Pneumonia can cause a cough also reflux and some medications. You need to be reevaluated by you physician and if appropriate see an allergist or pulmonologist. Chronic bronchitis is unusual at your age unless you smoke.

Although they sound similar acute vs chronic bronchitis are entirely different and 1 does not develop into the other. Acute bronchitis usually a viral, less commonly bacterial infection. Goes away (sooner or later).  Chronic bronchitis = irritation of bronchial tubes due to tobacco use, smoke, air pollution, smog, etc.  Does NOT get better unless you remove the pollution

Uri: Not necessarily a chronic bronchitis. Being in contact with small kids you are exposed to viruses and other germs contracted by kids. Probably it is a good option that you take the flu shot every year to minimize the risk of flu also. The cough sometimes stays for long time after we get any respiratory  infection.

Something else: Your symptom maybe due to another condition other than a lung condition. The elevated pressure in the pulmonary circulation in a young female suggest a condition called idiopathic pulmonary hypertension.a condition with no known cause. However a thorough clinical evaluation is required before this diagnosis is made. Need to consult a pulmonologist and/or cardiologist
