Multiple causes: First do you smoke, if so stop. If an albuterol inhaler helps, asthma could be present. Addition treatment may be needed. Pneumonia can cause a cough also reflux and some medications. You need to be reevaluated by you physician and if appropriate see an allergist or pulmonologist. Chronic bronchitis is unusual at your age unless you smoke.
