i have calcific tendinitis. i've done pt and 3 cortisone shots. still in pain. dr said its to small to find and i will have to live with it.  help me ?

Not true.: If you truly have calcific tendinitis the area can be successfully injected under ultrasound guidance. Find an orthopedist or rheumatologist who uses ultrasound.

calcific tendinitis, was my diagnoses a month after weeks of pain and loss of mobility. after physicaltherapy etc it's still painful and i can't lift my arm past a certain point (undressing is a nightmare). is it normal or can it be something else?

Inflamed and calcifi: Retropharyngeal calcific tendinitis is, or acute calcific prevertebral tendonitis a rare disease. The disease is a result of calcium hydroxyapatite deposition in the longus colli muscle and associated inflammation. Classically, the calcification affects the superior oblique portion of the longus colli muscle at the c1-c2 level. 
Treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids).

Calcified cuff: Calcific tendonitis is an unusual stage of rotator cuff tendoninopathy in which the chronic inflammation actually begins to calcify the tendon first with a milky chalky fluid but later in can turn into harder bone like calcifications.  First treatment is usually anti-inflammatory medications but surgical decompression may also help.

It is something that happens in older adults.
You should not worry about your Achilies tendon-related sounds. It doe snot mean much unless there is pain and or swelling on or about the tendon.

: This is a serious injury for a dancer. You need to be on a program to stretch/strengthen the tendon and muscles.  You require a regiment of 
Ice message followed my stretching. In evening, stretch then ice bag for 15 minutes.  Good luck. You also might need a heel lift to take tension off tendon.  But need in both shoes

Stiff tendons: Calcific tendonitis occurs when hydroxyapatite crystals form in tendons. This can cause pain and stiffness in the area of the tendon. Sometimes physical therapy is very helpful in preventing complications.

Enthesopathy: There is the location where the achilles tendon inserts into the heel bone (calcaneus). The achilles tendon has the strength to pull a force of 1, 400 pounds per square inch. This force can literally tear the tendon out of or away from the heel bone. The heel bone then grows bone spurs at that location of the tendon tear. This bone spur can be very tender. Also known as enthesopathy. See-podiatrist.
