Ulnar impaction: You might be born with a long ulna. When you move your wrist towards the little finger or load it you bump the wrist into the ulna. You should see a hand surgeon for an exam and x-rays.

Symptom relief: Yes, gabapentin can suppress nerve pain, but this is purely symptomatic relief, without any affect upon recovery or cure.  Since your problem just began, there is an excellent chance of improvement over next 3-4 weeks.  If numbness persists, at that point an EMG test could guide further intervention.

Several things: Ice, Ibuprofen and immobilization may help. But most importantly, you need to make sure that there si not a more serious injury such as a fracture.You may need to see the doctor.

Tennis elbow?: Would need more information to be sure but you may have a tendonitis which would occur if you engaged in some repetitive activity with your arm and hand. If that's the case, barring any continuation of the repetitive activity, resting arm except to put the elbow thru a repeated range of motion without weight several times/day, Naprosyn, and 6 weeks should resolve the pain.

Be seen: There are many things that could cause that.  It might be a muscle strain or other problem, but your doctor can tell for sure.

Yes, however...: These are commonly called "brain zaps" and can be caused by anxiety, but can also be a side effect of antidepressants and benzodiazepines; you don't mention if you're on any meds but if so that could cause this. 
In either event treat anxiety with counseling (esp. CBT), meditation,exercise,a quality mutivit. with methylfolate,magnesium, herbs like ashwagandha etc.

Strain: Muscle or ligament strain may result from throwing curve ball.  Try ice massage, and if persists see your doctor.

Possible abscess: You may have an infection in that area that has progressed to an abscess (collection of pus).  If so, this needs the attention of a doctor in-person as soon as possible to reduce the chance of complications and more severe infection.
