: Scarring is as a result of an old infection as is calcification. Punctate means tiny point like, nodule- solid area. Thias last thing is to be interpreted  and treated in co-relation with the reason the CT was ordered- by the ordering doc Good luck. Lung nodules: Based on the size and the risk factors, i think a follow up approach with serial ct chest for a total period of 2 years  would be recommended and is evidence-based. The second ct chest would be in 3-6 months.

: I doubt those findings are due to covid-19 infection if there is no abnormal finding in the lower lung fields. Repeat CXR with PA and apical lordotic views may give more information. If you are at risk for tuberculosis exposure in the past, then a tuberculin test should be done. CT scan of the chest may be necessary. Good luck.
