Gastritis: This should resolve with the taking of prolosec type medication. However I feel that it's also advisable to avoid spicey foods, eliminate tobacco,alcohol and minimize caffeine as well as avoidance of gastric irritating medications like aspirins,Aleve,Advil,corticosteroids,etc. Chronic stress can be a contributing factor.

H pylori infection : Means you have helicobacter  pylori infection of the stomach , treatable with antibiotics for cure , to prevent complications like stomach up set , bloating , indigestion etc, h pylori infection also causes peptic ( gastric )  ulcers , rare instances malignancy , don't worry  just go for treatment you will be fine.

Sometimes a bacteria called helicobacter pylori can be present and be associated with gastritis, ulcer's, or even cancer, (but they did not find this).  The part related to "negative for metaplasia, dysplasia and malignancy" means that they did not find evidence of cancer, or cell changes that could be pre-cancerous. Good luck!

Odd wording for post: Anyone who is sick is sometimes anxious about potential outcome. The cited findings are common, treatable &amp; considered relatively minor. You just likely have a lot of heartburn. The amount of anxiety anyone gets with a specific trigger varies. I wouldn't loose any sleep over this label but you may. I would just get treated &amp; get on with life.
