Hi. I got a endoscopy done and doctor says I have Antral and fundic mucosa with active chronic Helicobacter pylori gastritis. Duodenum mucosa. Does this infection might cause extreme anxiety? I been feeling so sick and they say is anxiety?
Had endoscopy suspected gastritis based on imaging. Pathology showed GASTRIC ANTRAL AND FUNDIC (OXYNTIC) TYPE MUCOSA WITH MILD REACTIVE CHANGES AND MINIMAL CHRONIC INFLAMMATION. What does this mean?
Is "gastric antral-type mucosa demonstrating chronic gastritis" a long term autoimmune condition? Negative h.pylori/malignancy/metaplasia/dysplasia.
Biopsy results are: Stomach, antrum, biopsy: Antral mucosa with mild chronic gastritis . Negative for helicobacter by immunohistochemistry. Negative for intestinal metaplasia. Negative for dysplasia and malignancy. What does this mean? Awaiting my GI?
