: Seeing the actual numbers would be more helpful, but every now and then I've encountered this ratio but never got any good reason for a normal albumin with a low globulin.  Malnutrition is the only reason I've read about that may cause the low globulin. As long as you have normal liver function labs otherwise and no hematology disorders, I'd disregard the low globulin. Low albumin is more serious

Need more info: Lab test results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and is best done by the doctor who ordered the test as s/he likely knows your health history. A doctor needs to know the actual values of the results and more clinical information.

my micro albumin/ creatinine urine ratio is high at 40.4.  but my micro albumin is 12.0 and my creatinine is 29.7, both low.  so is it really "high"?

In Math - it is : a ratio. Ratios are "higher" when the Numerator is higher in RELATIVE proportion to the denominator. The  Microalb ratio followed over time it gives you an idea of how much micro kidney injury you have ( for example from Diabetes of or uncontrolled High blood pressure) . High Microalb and/or  Low creatinine in urine is BAD

Liver blood tests: The liver is an amazing organ- it does many things including making proteins your body needs. Albumin is a major protein product of the liver. Chronic illness can cause that to decline- esp. if you're not eating. Globulins are other proteins usually made to fight diseases like infections- perhaps you've been fighting an illness for a few weeks/months that explain this pattern.

Unlikely: Typically with liver disease both the albumin and INR are low. The liver is an organ that is response for packaging both proteins absorbed from the GI tract (albumin) and producing clotting factors (INR). A high INR and low bilirubin is usually associated with liver disease given difficulties producing these factors. A low INR is nothing to be worried about unless taking blood thinners.

Many benign causes: Almost any virus or other exposure that provokes your immune system can produce a "defensive " or protective  response. Albumin is a useful parameter that indicates your nutritonal status is not the issue. Beta is indicative that your system is protecting itself.

: Low urea is either due to low protein intake or vigorous hydration, nothing to concern, unless you also have low blood sodium (Na), in that case you have to lower free water intake. I would assume you have a quite low serum creatinine too and that's why your eGFR is above normal range. High eGFR is only important in people with early phase of diabetic mellitus which is called hyperfiltration phase

what should i eat if hdl cholesterol is slightly low and albumin level is slightly high?

Eat fish & exercise: Hdl is not predominantly influenced by diet. Hdl is primarily regulated by genetics but can be increased by exercise, omega 3 fatty acids , weight loss and to a small extent wine .The best way to raise your HDL level is by increasing your aerobic exercise to at least 3-5 times a week for at least 20 minutes. Eat fish  high in omega 3 fatty acids, epa and dha or take  omega 3 capsules.

during my last 2 annual exams my globulin was low (1.7 each time) and my albumin/globulin ratio was high (2.7 last yr and 2.6 this year) my sugar has been high also (165 last year and 144 this year). a1c is normal. is this a concern?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if the blood samples were collected after an 8 hour fast, your blood glucose results are consistent with diabetes, normal A1c notwithstanding.

High CO2=alkaline : You may be a bit on the alkaline side. The co2 in your labs is actually bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate), (sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate)) not carbon dioxide. High bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) can be caused by being a little too alkaline. There are many causes of this. The high albumen/globulin ratio could be low iodine, which if severe can make you hypothyroid. Hypothyroidism can make you alkaline. You should consult with a metabolically experienced md.
