Ultrasound of the brain
Ultrasound of the brain itself, is no longer used. At one time an echo technique checked whether brain was shifted due to a growth, but now we have mri's to see directly. We use ultrasound now to check integrity of carotid artery flow, and inferential vertebral flow.
