Ultrasound technique: It's pretty common to have to push on babies during ultrasound to get them into the right position to be able to see all of their anatomy. This does not hurt the baby, although it may cause a little soreness of the uterine muscle. If you have another ultrasound in your pregnancy, try drinking some juice about half an hour beforehand so that the baby will be moving around by itself.
