Mohs surgery

Mohs surgery is a skin cancer surgery technique that allows 100% evaluation of the tumor margins (edges & depth). It involves 3 steps: 1. Tumor removal 2. Pathological evaluation 3. Reconstructive surgery. The three steps are often done by one physician who can do all three steps in the office on the same day (most of the time). It is done almost exclusively by dermatologists.
