MOHs surgery: Not usually. Mohs surgery is the process used in tumor removal. After the tumor is removed there is a defect in the skin which can be repaired or left to heal by nature. Your symptoms are more likely related to the repair process. More information about what was done with your wound after the cancer was removed is needed before commenting. For example, you may have a buried stitch. See your doctor.

Yes: The scar healing process can take 6-12 months. However, let the mohs surgeon examine the area to be certain there is no other problem outside of the healing process.
