A gammopathy is an abnormal gammaglobulin or gammaglobulin level. A monoclonal gammopathy is a single abnormal protein that can indicate a bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma, or a lymphoma. Further evaluation is required to determine if a monoclonal gammopathy represents a serious disease.
