Low dose pill: Pcos patients make estrogen without Progesterone because they do not ovulate. This can increase the risk for endometrial cancer (lining of the uterus) and ovarian cancer. Birth control pills provide Progesterone to protect from cancer, normalize hormonal levels and can often less hair growth and improve acne. Start with the lowest dose pill possible. There are many choices out there.
