: The vaginal irritation could be a yeast infection, which is more common in people with diabetes (or pre diabetes), and sometimes easy to miss during examination. However, this does not explain the diarrhea/mucus problem. Ask your doctor if she agrees it might be worth trying one of the many over-the-counter vaginal yeast treatments. Good luck.
