Vaginitis: Vaginitis is more likely than endometriosis as a cause of vaginal irritation, but there are other possible causes. Empiric treatment with OTC antifungal (Eg, monistat) will cure yeast vaginitis, but treatment for other forms (bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas) requires evaluation/treatment from a doctor.
