I had a sexual encounter 2 months ago. shortly after i started to feel unwell. irritation while urinating, smelly urine, fatigue, headache. my gp has carried out sti/uti tests, all are negative. i am suffering alot with this and need help?

No STI causes such symptoms, and not any infection from the sexual encounter on your mind. If they is a connection to that event, it probably is a a psychological one: most if not all your symptoms are consistent with anxiety elevating your awareness of minor symptoms or even normal body sensation that otherwise would not be bothersome and maybe not even noticed. Discuss further w/ your doctor.

If these tests are OK then there is nothing seriously wrong. Try drinking more water- if you do not improve in a week or so pl see a Urologist. Good luck
