Is it a good idea to take a womens probiotic for vaginal health daily? my vagina doesnt have an odor, no recurrent yeast infections or b.v. are they like daily vitamins - cant hurt you, even if doesnt end up helping. is it fine to take them?

They will not hurt you but if leading a healthy life and on a healthy diet it may make your wallet a bit lighter- for taking it is is un-necessary

Lots of research is underway on the effectiveness of vaginal probiotics that contain Lactobacillus bacteria. These products are promising, but it isn't yet clear how well they work to prevent BV, candida (yeast), and other infections. Certainly it will do no harm, so no reason not to try (if not too expensive, not covered by health insurance). Good luck.
