A member asked:

Oral sex before an coloposcopy does it cause abnormal pap smear?

I cannot come up with a scenario where this would have any effect on the test. Abnormal pap smears are months to years in development and represent a late stage of contact with a triggering agent. The triggering agent would come from genital to genital contact, not oral.

Neither giving nor receiving oral sex would affect the PAP results.
