The virus is already in his body so the lesion can appear at different sites in anogenital area, not necessarily self contamination.

Spread of these warts depends on the invasiveness of the virus and the persons body immunity (capability to fight infection) and is unpredictable. Best is to be under care of a Urologist who will treat the warts or prescribe medicine which can be used to destroy them
