A member asked:

Found a growth on my groin area looking like a small skin tag. dermatologist biopsied and pathologist said it was a benign verrucous keratosis. is this a wart caused by hpv? they said they could do some kind of stain test to look for virus?

The HPV strains that cause a growth in that area are not the same as those causing genital warts, All skin warts are members of the HPV family of strains. I wouldn't worry about it.
