I have persistent polyclonal b cell activation, raised igm and systemic flu like symptoms but docs are confused. no monoclonal bands, bence jones proteins or light chains. fbc normal. negative, ebv, cmv, strep, hiv, hepatitis, syphilis. please help?

Many IgM antibody tests work well, and even HSV IgM sometimes is useful in diagnosing neonatal herpes (i.e. in newborns). But useless in testing adults for HSV of either type.
