Can a primary cytomegalovirus infection cause pleva (pitraysis lichenoides) ? i had ebv, hiv and cmv serology for mono like symptoms. ebv igg positive igm neg. hiv neg. cmv igm and igg both positive at high levels a week before onset of pleva?

I wonder what symptoms led to the serology tests done before PLEVA appears. The positive results of both CMV IgM & IgG mean you had a recent CMV infection but there is no reported case of CMV-related PLEVA; however, other viral infection such as herpes, EB or HIV may have causal relationship with PLEVA.

I have CBC test where monocytes are high, liver enzymes ALT high; also EBV IgG positive, CMV IgG positive CMV IgM normal.. Hiv negative at 32 weeks.
EBV IGM less than 36. EBV nuclear antigen greater than 600. EBV IGG is 94.4. Doctor insists mono is causing my symptoms. Isnt all of this indicative of past infection rather than current or primary infection since my IGM is negative?
I received mono results as follows ebv-igg 4.44 ebv- IgM 0.60/ ebv-nuclr ag 8.43/early ag 0.29 my gyno dr said i still have the infection. Is this true? Nuclr and IgG so high why?
