A 27-year-old male asked:

If you have balaitis as an uncircumcised adult male and you're applying antifungal cream, do you cover the head of the penis back up with the foreskin? or do you leave it open to dry?

If the balanitis is due to bacterial infection, antifungal medication will not help irrespective of the position of the prepuce. If your symptoms have lasted more than a couple of weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!

leave it covered as otherwise all the ointment will get removed by your lower garments.
