Yes, the pills: The most commonly used progesterones are androgenic. They may cause depression, loss of scalp hair, unwanted facial hair, and acne. Individual responses are genetically determined. If you must continue this med.......there may be better ways.....then a daily spironolactone will reduce the unwanted effects. Usually 50 or 100mg. Very safe.
