Asking for girlfriend. sharp radiating pain from inside, what feels like lung area. worse when breathes in. no cough. she recently got off birth control for 10+ years. went to er. ekg, x-ray and oxygen levels normal. blood clot? other possibilities?

Chest pain: Yes it is a possibility of blood clot . Did they due a CT angiogram ? That checks for blood clots. Could also be pleurodynia -viral inflammation of the lung serosa treat with anti-inflammatories like motrin- if not allergic. May also be gallbladder. Would get a second opinion at ER/urgent care or MD

Bp: That range is essentially normal. Along with the normal tests suggests normal overall. These findings don't suggest a cause for symptoms.
