A member asked:

If you had a blood clot on your lung, would it always affect your oxygen levels? mine are 98-99%. but for days i've been feeling like its different to breathe. like i'm forcing deep breaths. could it be a clot? what else can make you feel this way?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The "clot" you likely think of in the major blood vessels that supply the lungs. Block those & no blood gets through to gain oxygen so the readings go down. If you have good levels that is not the problem, but there are several other reasons for difficulty breathing. Get evaluated by a real doc. Don't spend time trying to self diagnose.
