Uncertain: Multiple sores and fever strongly suggest a new HSV2 infection, but 11 days is far earlier than normal for a posiitve IgG blood test, which usually takes at least 2-3 weeks and often 12+ weeks for positive IgG blood test. If pregnant or immune deficient (e.g. chemotherapy, advance HIV infection), recurrent herpes can mimic primary infection.
